Interested in becoming Catholic? The RCIA process
is for you! RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It
is a year-long
process of prayer, study and preparation. It is intended for those who have
never been baptized, for those who were baptized
in another faith tradition and now desire to join the Catholic Church,
or for those baptized Catholics who have not received the Sacraments of Penance,
Eucharist or Confirmation.
For information on the RCIA process, contact the parish
office.
Holy Orders:
This Sacrament is for those who are beginning ordained ministry in the Church
as a deacon, priest or bishop. When a man feels a call
from God to this type of life of service, he and the Church together discern
and ratify this call (vocation).
Several years of seminary formation are required. For information, contact
the Diocesan
Vocations Office or Fr.
Bill.
